Behind the Dye - what is it and how does it happen?

Tie dye is made by folding, wrapping, tying or manipulating the fabric - then dyeing it. Different folds or ties will create different designs.

I dye in small batches for a couple reasons. One is to ensure a quality dye - the other is because it's more environmentally friendly.

Each tie dye is unique and gets made with love & care out of my home. I hand dye everything on this site EXCEPT for the Third Party Prints

For that album I photograph favorite parts of tie dye I've made and then design the prints from there.
